Automotive Facility Investment

With the knowledge unit brought by our experience of more than 40 years, production will be carried out in a wide range of products for the automotive sector in our new facility. Kalibre Boru, with a total investment value of more than US$ 50 million, has broken new ground in the sector and implemented a state-of-the-art technology-enhanced process from sheet metal to the end product with a fully integrated production approach under one roof.

With this investment, components for chassis parts, shock absorbers, vibration absorbers, steering wheels, shafts, rods, and engine parts will be produced for all kinds of vehicles produced in our country and abroad, and this will further strengthen our country’s position in the world in automotive production and exports.

35th Anniversary of Happiness in Kalibre Boru

350 People Will Have Jobs With The New Investment

In the traditionally held Doruktakiler 2017, in the category of “Investment of the Year”, Şerif Ünan, the owner of Kalibre Boru, won the first place by the votes of the jury. Stating that they have made a new automotive investment of 50 million dollars, Ünan announced that when the new facility is completed, they will provide employment opportunities for 350 people.

Ünan Proudly Signed His Book

Şerif Ünan, chairman of the board of directors of Kalibre Boru and Founding President of Kocaeli Higher Education Foundation (KYÖV), introduced his book “An Extraordinary Journey to Industrialism”, which he wrote for the benefit of KYÖD. There was great interest in Ünan’s book signing day. The income from the sale will be transferred to KYÖD’s aid fund.
